Vice President of Security, Miami Dolphins

Charles Burns is the vice president of security with the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and its properties including the Miami Open and Formula One Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. In his role, he oversees all aspects of security for Dolphins business operations and Hard Rock Stadium.

Prior to his role with the Dolphins, Burns served as the corporate vice president of security at ASM Global leading security strategies for 350 global venues including arenas, stadiums, theaters and convention centers. Burns formerly held leadership positions in security and risk management across a variety of companies and brands including the Cleveland Cavaliers/Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Uber, the IndyCar Series and the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.

Burns serves on a number of non-profit boards including the Fallen Wounded Soldiers Fund, Challenge Detroit and the Detroit Crime Commission. Burns graduated from Purdue University and served in the United States Marine Corps.
