Code of Conduct

Overview

We believe our community should be professional, and respectful for everyone. We are committed to providing a reasonably safe, open, friendly, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.

This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

With our community comes different ideas, thoughts, questions, backgrounds, and more. Courtesy and respect are essential within our community. We all come from very different perspectives, walks of life, backgrounds, and experiences. Carefully listening to the opposing opinions and concerns are paramount to tackling any modern-day problem. To that end, it is okay to “agree to disagree”. We respect everyone’s point of view, even though we may not agree, accept, or endorse those point of views despite our own comfort or discomfort with the matter at hand.

We invite all sponsors, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors, and other participants to help us realize a safe and positive conference experience for everyone. All determinations of appropriate or inappropriate behavior are in Soteruna’s sole discretion and the decision(s) of the Soteruna representatives will be final.
