Registration Terms and Conditions

Overview

After completing the registration, please review your Registration Confirmation email to ensure that one has been registered for the correct sessions before the start of the conference. If one discovers that one has registered for the incorrect session, please make your edits before September 1, 2023 or contact us by September 1, 2023 to move you to the correct session one originally wanted to be in, conditioned on availability.

Age Limit

Due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 18 will be permitted to attend at any time during the Converge Security Conference.

If one is ages 12-17 and is also an invited guest of the Converge Security Conference, an authorized parent, guardian, or chaperone must be present at all times.

Audio and Video Recordings

Attendees are not permitted to record or publicize any of the content presented at Converge Security Conference.

Only the presenter maintains the right to record their presentation for professional development and pedagogical purposes.

Cancellation Policy

  • All fees are non-refundable starting on September 1, 2023.
  • All paid registrants who do not submit an email request to [email protected] by September 1, 2023, fail to send a substitute, or do not attend the conference forfeit all payments and fees.
  • Registrants who are unable to attend and must cancel may substitute another person by submitting an email to [email protected].
  • Individuals are responsible for all logistics, including but not limited to, canceling hotel, and travel arrangements. Converge Security Conference is not responsible or accepts liability for hotel and travel costs.
  • All registrants who cancel and do not substitute another individuals will receive a full refund less 6% (six percent) processing fee if notification is submitted in writing via [email protected] on or before September 1, 2023.
  • If one cancels and re-registers, your new registration will reflect the current pricing on the date of your new registration. Earlier registration pricing and promotions will not be honored.
  • If one registers multiple times for the exact same event, one must submit an email to [email protected] immediately and no later than September 1, 2023 or one will be responsible for costs of all registrations.
  • Failure to attend the event without written notification as detailed above prior to the start of the event will be classified as a “No Show”, which will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
  • If one registers, has not paid, and has not canceled your registrations by September 1, 2023, your registration will be canceled. If one does not respond to Converge Security Conference’s attempts to contact one regarding the status of your payment, your registration may be canceled. Registration cancellations notices will be sent via email only.
  • If one has already registered and paid one’s registration in full, one is not eligible for a discount if your organization also submits and qualifies for group registration at a later date.
  • Converge Security Conference reserves the right to cancel your registration, your duplicate or your unpaid registration without prior notice.

Code of Conduct

Converge Security Conference is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and welcoming environment. By participating, one agrees to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Continue Education Credit / Continuing Professional Education Credit (CPE)

Converge Security Conferences provides up to 17 CPE credits to be used across any number of professional certifications for ISC2, ISACA, COMPTIA, GIAC, and more.

Attendees must scan their badge at the beginning of a session and complete each sessions’ feedback survey to receive CPE credits.

Upon an event’s completion, a CPE certificate will be emailed to you. Converge Security Conference does not maintain records of earned CPE credits; it is the responsibility of the professional and/or certification holder to maintain their records

Payment

Registration fees are only guaranteed at the time of full payment. At the time of payment, attendees are responsible to pay the current registration rate. If your registration has a balance due at the time of a rate increase, an updated invoice will be sent to you. Outstanding balances are due at the start of the event. Admission to your registered event will not be allowed and registration credentials will not be issued until all fees have been paid in full. Converge Security Conference reserves the right to cancel your registration if we do not receive payment by September 1, 2023. All registration fees are listed in US Dollars (USD).

Credit Cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. All credit cards are processed at the time of your registration.

Checks: Check Payments are not accepted for this event.

Purchase Orders: Purchase orders and Government Terms are not accepted for this event.

Wire Transfers: Wire Transfers are not accepted for this event.

Venmo: Venmo is not accepted for this event.

Zelle: Zelle is not accepted for this event.

Cryptocurrencies: Cryptocurrencies are not accepted for this event.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2023 OR YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELED.

Program Changes

Converge Security Conference reserves the right to make changes in the event program, Speakers, or to cancel programs should the enrollment criteria not be met or when conditions beyond our control prevail. Such program changes may happen without advance notice.

All breakout sessions are filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. At Converge Security Conference discretion, priority may be given to those who pre-registered for select breakout sessions.

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes are only applicable to registrations that are completed online and applied at the time of registration. Only one promotional code may be applied to an individual registration. Promotional codes may not be combined, stacked, and may not be applied retroactively.

Refunds

In order to receive a refund, all refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] by September 1, 2023. Refunds shall be sent back to the original payment method used.

Credit Cards: Refunds for credit card payments will only be to the original card charged.

Due to credit card processors not returning transaction fees for refunds, full refunds shall include a 6% (six percent) processing fee.

Substitutions

Substitutions are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant before September 1st. You may submit your request via email to [email protected]. A substitution is a straight transfer of registration credentials.

If you qualified and registered under our Alumni Program, your registration may be substituted to another qualified alumni. However, if the substitution is made to an individual who is not an alumnus, the difference in fees will be due.

If you find that you have registered yourself for the incorrect breakout session, you must contact us by September 1, 2023 in order for us to move you to the class you originally wanted to be in (space pending). We cannot move you to another class after September 1, 2023.

If your substitution requires us to process a new payment (change in credit card, additional class fees), the person will be required to email [email protected] and billed for all applicable registration fees.
